Congratulations to Year 12 Harington students Alex and George who have achieved a prestigious Arkwright Engineering Scholarship, designed to inspire students to pursue their dreams and change the world as a future leader in engineering. 

Both have been awarded funded scholarships, Alex is being sponsored by the RAF and George’s sponsor is The Valentine Charitable Trust. This means that support is offered in various different ways, for example, hands-on work experience, networking events, support for curriculum projects and a personal mentor who can help studies and career planning. 

Alex and George worked on an engineering project to support their applications which also included an exam and interview whilst at Catmose College.
