Sicily Geography Trip
Holy Cannoli! 38 students from Catmose College and Harington spent 5 gloriously sunny days exploring the sites (Greek Theatres), sounds (Italian bus drivers) and smells (sulphurous mud baths) of Sicily. Highlights of the trip included: catching a cable car and 4WD bus to the summit of Mount Etna, Europe’s most active Volcano; climbing to the crater of vulcano and bathing in volcanic mud baths; enjoying gelato, lemon granita with brioche; and making Pizza’s in the UNESCO world heritage site of Taormina. Bellissima Sicilia!
