Tuesday’s meeting was with Professor Keith Ward, a theologian/philosopher from Oxford University, and a world-renowned writer and scholar, to our Teams-Session. He gave a talk to the class, and fielded a Q & A session, which were both utterly fascinating.

Thursday’s speaker was Professor Gavin D’Costa, an internationally renowned theologian, based at Bristol University. He spoke to the students about pluralism and exclusivism, and the students engaged with him brilliantly, asking many thought-provoking and challenging questions. Professor D’Costa was extremely impressed with them, and having only offered us 30 minutes of his time, he ended up giving over an hour!!

Additionally, Dr Smith would like to express just how proud and impressed he was with his Year 13s, who engaged with both speakers at the highest possible level, and asked the most probing and insightful questions.
