Rome Trip

On 13th February, Philosophy and Ethics students flew out to Rome for a weekend exploring the sights and soaking up the culture. Highlights of the weekend included the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and Vatican City. Whilst in the Vatican City, the group learned about the story behind Michelangelo’s works in the Sistine Chapel and his progression as an artist, before visiting the Vatican Museum and seeing the works of Raphael. Visiting the sights of profound religious importance, such as the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica, helped develop their understanding of Roman Catholicism.
