Our Year 12 A level art & design students took part in an inspiring oil painting workshop with professional artist Scott Bridgwood.

For many, it was their first time using oils, exploring colour mixing, composition, and the use of complementary colours to create depth and shadows. They produced stunning still-life pieces featuring fruit, jugs, and vases, learning how to balance hard and soft edges for a harmonious effect.

This hands-on experience will be invaluable for their A level coursework and future art studies. A fantastic opportunity to learn from a professional and expand their portfolio.
